Born in Mumbai and raised in Florida—

I come from a background in science, holding degrees in both Molecular Biotechnology and Genetics—which, I can tell you, aren’t exactly useful to me today. As I transitioned out of science, I taught myself UX design and began freelancing, naturally gravitating toward healthcare apps as a bridge between my past expertise and my new craft. From there, I moved into B2B design before eventually landing at Macy’s, where I shifted to B2C and focused on designing experiences for everyday consumers. Regardless of industry, my work has always centered on research—understanding people, their needs, and how to create solutions that improve their lives.

As a former teacher, I developed skills in observation, interpretation, ideation, and communication, which continue to shape my approach to design today. My ultimate goal is to grow into a designer who not only builds meaningful, sustainable solutions but also gives back to the communities that matter most. I thrive in cross-functional, collaborative environments where I can continuously sharpen my skills and push for simple, effective design. I’m always seeking new challenges and am eager to apply my expertise across industries that inspire me—whether in medicine, media, or fashion—to contribute to a better future.

When I’m not designing I very much enjoy: cooking with my husband, online shopping, walking through cities via google maps street view, and powerlifting.
